A Haven of Peace and Serenity

If you are looking for a comfortable base from where to explore the Marari Beach and Alappuzha area then this one is ideal. Run by a young, english speaking, university educated couple, your every need is catered for. Jency is an excellent cook, and her husband Allwyn is the most efficient and helpful owner we have ever met in all our travels around India. Set in a super garden, with mature trees, two swimming pools, hammocks and sun loungers, there are a number of private cottages available, all very well furnished with very comfy beds and excellent air conditioning. After a hectic trip around India this is a perfect place to relax and visit the fishermen on the beach or cruise the lake and the backwaters. This is also now our favourite place to stay whenever we return to Kerala.Other highlights of our stay included relaxing on Marari Beach (5 minutes walk); having some silk and linen clothes tailor-made overnight in Alleppey (30 minute tuk-tuk ride); and wonderful Ayurvedic massages.
